GRACIE (2013)
Gracie, the beloved family companion of Steve and Beth Arnold, Gurnee, IL.

Charlie (7-6-10 to 9-28-13)

Well, I hope I can get this typed. Charlie came to us after he was saved by Homeward Bound. Sadly he had been tied behind a garage and just forgotten. But thankfully he was saved and then came into our lives when he was just a year old. Oh he was SUCH a happy puppy considering what he had been though. Charlie brought a joy into our live because it happened just after we had lost Taeo. He greeted everyone with such excitement!!! We then rescued him a fur-brother, Riley. They were constant companions. So for two years we watched his silly little habits, laughed at some of the silly things he'd do, and watch as he and Riley would laid down for the night side by side. You just couldn't help but smile. We are comforted by the knowledge that Charlie's two years with us, were happy & carefree. With lots of love, the companionship of Riley, and no fear of being mistreated. Buster and Taeo, I'm sure, met Charlie at Heaven's gate.

We will always love you, Charlie!!!

HANNA

~~Hanna: Born 7/30/14, Chosen/Adopted at Sheltie Shack 9/30/2007, Crossed to the Rainbow Bridge 6/10/14.

My sweet Hanna crossed to the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 12 years 10 months and 10 days.  She leaves behind her human Mom, Sheltie sister Hailey and Nori cat.  Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives.   After searching for almost a year,  the moment I saw her picture on the Sheltie  Shack Rescue of Kansas web site I knew she was the Sheltie for me.  Traveled from Tulsa, OK to Sheltie Shack just to get her and what a happy day that was.  From a frightened little 9 pound sheltie, Hanna became a happy little girl who love to sit on my lap and be petted, with time she perfected the fine art of the sheltie smile and puppy bow.  Hanna never weighted more than 11 lbs. 6 oz. so caught the attention of everyone.  She loved her Spa days and would stand so still.  She loved to take walks. She loved her "cookie" (treat).  She loved her crate (always her safe place).  She was a happy little girl, my sweet Hanna.
She will be forever missed and will always be remembered and loved.  She lives on in the memories we made and the time we shared.  My sweet little girl....Hanna

RANGER (11-18-99 to 3-13-14)

BELOVED FURCHILD OF BRUCE AND DEBRA ANSLEY

~~Ranger Ansley 11-18-99-3-13-14.  Ranger AKA Handsome Man came to us when he was 4 years.   He was nervous at first but eventually warmed up to Ruby.  However,  he never really warmed up to Grampy and made us laugh when he would ""charge" him!;)  He was such a good boy who went with the flow...he loved walks but not his bath.:)  He is greatly missed by his fur siblings Roxie and Reggie and mostly Grammy as he became my boy/buddy in the last few years.  We were very fortunate to have him for almost 10 years and know he is running with Ruby and all the other special Shelties Auntie Linda saved!:)  Miss and love you Handsome Man!

ROXIE - 5/24/02 - 8/16/14

~~Our beautiful Raine aka Roxie crossed the bridge at a young 11 years of age.  She was such an amazing girl...she loved attention and ruled the roost!  The day she came she walked in, sat down and let us know she was home!  She loved being in a home with other shelties but let them all know she was the "Queen".  She was super stubborn but incredibly loving.  A few days after she crossed we saw two Monarch butterflies flying together so we knew she was at the bridge.  We will always love and miss our Foxie Roxie.  Running in Paradise our girl.

Beloved furchild of Bruce and Debra Ansley
