My name is Ryan and I just arrived here at the Sheltie Shack via a breeder auction.  A nice lady rescued me and sent me here.  She told me I'd get cleaned up, fed well and mostly loved until which day I get to help pick a wonderful FOREVER FAMILY to call my own.  I'm lucky because I'm still not one year old and it will be easier to forget my past than the many older dogs that finally get released from the breeding life.  I will be completely vetted soon and ready to find my new home in time for the holidays where I've been told there is a Santa and many presents and treats to celebrate.

Ryan is a shy, thin 15# boy at this time, but he's only settling in.  Grooming is a slow process with some dogs and in order to not stress them too much we do a little at a time.  Soon we'll update photos with his SPA PHOTOS (vbg).  We feel Ryan would do best in a home with another playful sheltie to emulate and help learn the ropes of being a beloved household member.
