Tammy Faye has opted to stay in her foster home as she has ongoing health concerns that will need to be addressed regularly.  If you would like to make a donation toward her care, it would be very much appreciated.  

 

Tammy Faye is a precious 15 year old blue merle female sheltie that was turned into a Kansas Kill Shelter by her family that claimed they could not afford her grooming needs. She has never been a house dog but she is catching on to this luxury life fast since joining our organization.  It appears her medical needs were not seen to either. She has multiple health concerns that we are addressing.  In all honesty, most likely we will never place her for adoption, but continue to love her and see that she is given all the Comfort Care she requires. 

If you are one of those people who would like to offer this type of long term foster care for a senior dog in need, please contact us for details. There are never enough volunteers to help rescues with this need and SSR is no exception.
