Lucky's story is on the web-site's home page, however, an UPDATE this Memorial Weekend of 2012 is that one of SSR's "Special Adopters" (meaning she has given a home to shelties that have been less than adoptable in the past and loved them every bit as much as perfect ones) has offered this ole (although he does NOT act it, ha) boy a home after he has his pin removed from his leg.  He has another follow up appointment to be checked again next week.  I'm sure I'm as anxious for his surgery as he is.....he's been hard to keep down ;-) .
