PRINCE wants nothing more than a warm/cool clean place to lay down (hopefully very close to his special human).  His life has not taken the paths that he deserves and although an older boy now he really has some very quality time to share with someone that will appreciate the wonderful boy that he is.  He likes a nice chew occassionally on his tasty rawhide roll, a regular meal (although on a much needed diet at this time) and someone to occasionally take hold of his head in their hand, give him a gentle kiss on his nose or forehead and lastly some kind and loving words.  In return, you'll get a very devoted sheltie, not yappy, completely house trained and always there for his person when they need him.

PRINCE is a senior boy and we have a special adoption program geared to those willing to open their hearts and homes to a dog that are in their retirement years, so if you are interested in knowing more about him or any of our other double digit furkids, contact us and we'll tell you about this program.

"Dog ownership is like a rainbow. Puppies are the joy at one end. Old dogs are the treasure at the other." -Carolyn Alexander

If you want to inquire about a specific SHELTIE waiting to be matched with a perfect forever family of their own, please fill out our on-line ADOPTION APPLICATION .

PROCESS OF ADOPTION:

After we have had time to review your application and check references, we will be back in touch with you.  This is a totally volunteer organization; therefore please allow at least 48 hours for us to get back with you. If at that time you have NOT gotten a reply, please e-mail us as your application may not have arrived. (ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED, WHETHER APPROVED OR NOT.)

After your submitted application has been processed, references checked and approved, a HOME VISIT will be scheduled after which time arrangements will then be discussed regarding meeting your potential new family member.

Adoption fees range from $150-$275, based on the age/adoptability of each specific dog.  HOWEVER, please inquire about our SENIOR  SANCTUARY PROGRAM  if you are open to adopting a dog in double digit years.  We believe these SPECIAL individuals and families deserve even more consideration/support and we make every effort to make these adoptions a WIN WIN for both our DOG and POTENTIAL FAMILY.
